Old OakFew days ago i went to shoot some oaks in nice place called Rogalinek (in Poland). The best light is just before sunrise, so i was there about hour and a half before it. No filters were used, just a tripod and a small amount of post-processing, mainly in Lightroom. Photoshop only for removing one dot of dust from the sensor. Canon EOS 5D Mark II, Samyang 14mm f/2.8, Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop. 52.241604, 16.905738 Resolutions: 2560x1600, 2560x1440, 2560x1024, 1920x1200, 1920x1080, 1680x1050, 1600x1200, 1600x900, 1440x900, 1400x1050, 1280x1024, 1280x960, 1280x800, 1280x720, 1024x1024, 1024x768, 1024x600, 800x480, 640x960, 480x272, 320x480, 320x240. Ponies, MongoliaWhile temporarily lost in the Mongolian outback, I came across these ponies all huddled together. My choices? Double back and see if I missed a turnoff somewhere or ride my 250cc Enduro into the oncoming storm. Thankfully, my newfound equine friends nodded me in the right direction. Matterhorn's Midnight ReflectionAfter my little misinterpretation of Zermatt\'s traffic regulations (no cars allowed - $700 fine if you get caught), I ended up having to hike for 2.5 hours, 4 miles and about 1,000 meters in altitude with roughly 15kg on my back. Finally, I arrived at Stellisee, a small lake with a fantastic panorama of the Swiss Matterhorn. After I finished shooting, I hiked back the super dark trail, well prepared like any other mountain guide, with my new iPhone flashlight app! Photo comes straight out of the camera, so no further alterations. Hurricane CeliaPerfectly circular, powerful Hurricane Celia spaned hundreds of miles over the Pacific Ocean in this image from June 24, 2010. Rough-textured clouds surround the storm’s distinct eye. Farther from the center of the storm, spiral arms appear thinner and smoother. The Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer, or MODIS, on NASA’s Aqua satellite captured this true-color image of Hurricane Celia at 1:55 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time on June 24, 2010. Just five minutes later, the U.S. National Hurricane Center classified Celia as a Category 4 hurricane with sustained winds of 135 miles per hour. Image Credit: NASA
