RIP: Momofuku Ando

I had just finished a bowl of Ramen [2] noodles [3] when I read this.

I have also:

subsisted on Ramen

been severely financially impacted when Ramen fluctuated between 3/dollar and 10/dollar

hit the lowest of lows and stolen a case of Ramen out of a parked car* [4]

contemplated writing a "101 Ramen" recipe book

somehow not grown to hate Ramen; in the best of times between steak and lobster, I still stock up on the noods.

*To whom it may concern: I would like to apologize for stealing the Ramen. If you lived where I did and bought a case of Ramen, chances are you weren't wealthy. I probably really fuxed the week up for you and your kids, and it's bothered me for over fifteen years.
Please know that we fully appreciated it.
