Large Hadron Collider

The Large Hadron Collider (LHC) is being built in a circular tunnel 27 km in circumference. The tunnel is buried around 50 to 175 m. underground. It straddles the Swiss and French borders on the outskirts of Geneva.

Dan Brown jumped the gun a little; this won't be operational until 2007, but it will be the largest in the world, and it's starting to come together.

know what's funny? I have a friend named Dan Browne. He's not a writer though, he's in the Navy right now. And you know what else? Someone in our house claims to be reading that very book: Angels & Demons. But, it's been sitting underneath the microwave for the last four or five months... Fascinating really.

eerie

That is weird. What's weirder is that someone scored this with a 3. Show yourself, deviant! Wtmf?! I'll collide your atoms when I find out who ye are. Oh and, Arrh!
