The idea here is to name the hammer or how it was used; there is a link to the answer page after the last photo.

I got a resounding zero correct.

Silent Guardian

It can throw a wave of agony nearly half a mile

You know, the thought of the unchecked proliferation of nukes after the fall of the Soviet Union was scary, but at least now we're making more eco-friendly weapons for future terrorists.
Shocked
(did anyone else notice the vacuum bomb test was reported 9/11/07? meh, whatever)
Still, the snazzy music in this promo video has me sold.

Sorry for lack of posting.
I blame this:

I pre-ordered the limited edition Kane version mentioned in the video; this clip is from the bonus dvd which came with it.

Spore

E3 is going on right now, and the game to end all games is being showcased..
In case you haven't heard of it yet, Spore is going to be absolutely amazing.
Will Wright, co-founder of Maxis, and original designer of Sim City and The Sims, has been pretty busy lately.
Here he is, demonstrating the game at the 2005 Game Developer's Conference.
The video is 36 minutes long, but omfg wow, it's worth it.

If you don't have time to watch that, here's an unedited B-Roll made for E3

If you don't have time to watch that, here's the newly released official trailer which does the game no justice whatsoever, using pre-rendered graphics and zero game footage...

Spore is currently slated to hit the shelves April 2007.
Damn it's gonna be a long year.
